The International Conference of Progress in Sustainability (ICPS) was conceived to highlight the development of actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDS) in different industries, and to share good practices and solutions to the complex challenges of sustainable development.
2020 marks the 5th birthday of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the UN SGDS. Today, the world is a different place from when the SGDS were created, and this event aims to take into account the future impact of the 2020 health crisis, followed by economic, political, and social crises.
The conference will take place online, on the 9th and 10th of December 2020. It will join representatives of academic, industry, government, and individuals working to achieve sustainable development in all its dimensions – economic, social, and environmental.
The organising committee is pleased to invite scholars, researchers, students (undergraduate/postgraduate), organisations, municipalities and any stakeholders to contribute to this event. Interested companies and individuals are also welcome to identify and exchange recent knowledge on the topics.
The abstracts and the full papers will be published in the E-book of the conference. The delegates will have the opportunity to apply for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Energy and Environmental Engineering, Springer, published since 2012.
